|  Provider Profile Sang U. Kim, M.D. Sang U. Kim M.D., joined Overlake Internal Medicine Associates in 2001. Dr. Kim was born in South Korea and immigrated to the United States as a young boy. He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington. Then, he received his Doctor of Medicine from University of Washingtion. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship from University of Washington Medical Center and affiliated hospitals, including Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
He sees patients in all areas of gastroenterology. His additional interests include reflux disease, dyspepsia, gastric cancer prevention and early treatment, colon cancer prevention and early treatment, and liver diseases including Hepatitis B and C. He is also fluent in Korean. He enjoys golf, skiing, hiking, soccer, music of various genre, and variety of ethnic food.
He enjoys caring for his patients, one patient at a time, with competence and compassion.
