Provider Profile Eric P. Gottesman, M.D. Dr. Gottesman joined Overlake Internal Medicine Associates in 2007. He earned his medical degree from State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn, New York. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Gottesman completed his fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, and he completed his fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine at Brown University Medical School, Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Gottesman is board certified in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and Internal Medicine. Professional affiliations include the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. He is currently the Director of Respiratory Therapy and Pulmonary Function at Overlake Hospital Medical Center. Prior to joining Overlake Internal Medicine Associates, Dr. Gottesman was a faculty member and physician at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and affiliate of Albert Einstein Medical College. There, he served as Director of the North Shore-LIJ Pulmonary Physiology Laboratory, Director of the North Shore-LIJ Respiratory Care Unit, and Co-Director of the Swallowing Disorder Service. In his spare time, he enjoys playing with his twin sons, baseball, biking, collecting wine, and attending the symphony and opera. |
