COMMITMENT TO CLINICAL EXCELLENCE SINCE 1960

Overlake Internal Medicine Associates’ commitment to clinical excellence has not wavered since our inception in 1960. From our fully accredited sleep center to our dual-accredited laboratory to our friendly staff, come discover why we treat our patients like family.

From inside and out, we do our best to exude quality. For example, our team of gastroenterologists are superior above their national peers in detecting adenomatous polyps during colonoscopies to screen for cancer. In 2013, our detection rate was 36% for males vs. the national target of 25% and 31% for females vs. a national target of 15%! Congratulations to our gastroenterology team for work well done!

ACCREDITATIONS

assocThe Overlake Sleep Disorders Center (OSDC) has maintained its accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) since June 2007, making it the largest accredited sleep center east of Seattle. AASM accreditation ensures that OIMA’s Sleep Disorders Center meets or exceeds the gold standard by which sleep medicine services are measured and that proficiency in testing procedures and policies, patient safety and follow-up, and physician and staff training are all met. If you’re having sleep-wake disorders such as insomnia (difficulty falling or staying asleep), daytime tiredness, snoring, restless legs, or sleep apnea, give us a call at (425) 289 – 3000 for an evaluation by one of our sleep specialists.

Accreditation is given only to laboratories that pass COLA’s on-site rigorous survey by demonstrating that it meets COLA’s standards of quality in day-to-day operations and the performance of proficiency testing. OIMA’s lab has earned COLA accreditation as a result of its continued commitment to providing quality testing services to its patients.
