GASTROENTEROLOGY SERVICES
We understand that some patients may be reluctant to discuss their gastrointestinal symptoms and disorders with their physicians. However, our physicians and staff work hard to make your appointment as pleasant as possible. You’ll be delighted to know that many gastrointestinal disorders are often successfully treatable; early diagnosis and treatment are key.
We offer minimally invasive procedures, such as endoscopy and colonoscopy, to detect and address gastrointestinal problems or abnormalities as quickly and painlessly as possible.
For those who want to have a colon cancer screening quickly without the need to see a gastroenterologist physician for a visit beforehand, we offer our unique “Direct Access” program that allows you to have a simple history taken over the phone by our staff, who will then schedule your colonoscopy. Please see below.
DIRECT ACCESS COLONOSCOPY
Our Direct Access program takes the “hassle” factor out of getting your colonoscopy. You may qualify for a “Direct Access” colonoscopy if you:
- Are between the age of 50 and 79; and
- Have no symptoms; and
- Have had a complete physical by a licensed practitioner in the past 12 months.
A Direct Access Colonoscopy means if you meet the guidelines above, you may be eligible to receive a colonoscopy without a pre-procedure physician visit. Our staff can offer this program to you right over the phone. Instead of coming in for a gastroenterologist physician visit, you will be asked a series of questions on the phone by a member of our Direct Access team to determine if you qualify. If you do, s/he will schedule your colonoscopy right away. The program is designed to save you time and money. Call and ask a member of our Direct Access team right now at (425) 467 - 0150. We’ll be happy to assist you.
